Based at the PJ Thory office in Coates, Peterborough you'll operate across three established brands, where you will lead the finance function and play a key role in integrating the business into the wider Holcim Group.
Working closely with the Senior Management Team, you will bring financial insight to day-to-day decision making while strengthening reporting, processes and controls as the business transitions from outsourced accounting to an in-house model.
This role offers the opportunity to shape how finance operates within the business, lead a long-standing team through positive change, and build strong relationships across both the local operation and the wider Holcim finance community.
What You'll Be Doing
Taking ownership of monthly management accounts and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with Holcim Group standards.
Acting as a trusted business partner to the Senior Management Team, providing financial analysis and insight to support operational and commercial decisions.
Leading and developing a small finance team, supporting colleagues who bring deep organisational knowledge while helping the team evolve into new ways of working.
Establishing clear financial controls, reporting processes and cash flow forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information across the organisation.
Supporting the integration and simplification of multiple business entities, improving financial visibility and efficiency across the businesses operating on site.
Who you are
You are a qualified accountant with strong experience in financial control, reporting and business partnering.
You enjoy working in SME-style environments, where you can stay close to the business, understand operations and see the impact of your work.
You are comfortable leading and developing teams, particularly where colleagues bring long-standing organisational knowledge and experience.
You bring a strong understanding of financial controls, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
You value being present within the business, working closely with colleagues across operations and leadership to build trusted relationships.
We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. You will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or age.
