The Opportunity
Are you ready to lead from the front in a fast-paced, high-volume operation? This is your chance to step into a pivotal leadership role as Operations Manager with Holcim UK at the Isle of Grain. You’ll take ownership of delivering operational excellence, managing budgets, and driving performance at one of the busiest and most dynamic environments in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire multi-disciplined teams, promoting a safety-first culture and delivering against Holcim’s Health & Safety objectives.
Manage high-volume operations, ensuring compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and environmental permits while delivering exceptional customer service.
Drive efficiency through operational excellence initiatives such as OEE, REE, and Lean, embedding best practice across business units.
Take full ownership of budgets, financial controls, and performance targets, ensuring business units deliver against EBITDA goals.
Oversee quality standards, investigating and resolving material issues with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, statutory bodies, and external partners to maintain and enhance business reputation.
Develop site improvement plans, training programs, and forward forecasts to ensure sustainable long-term performance.
Who You Are
A strong, visible leader with the ability to manage high-volume, fast-moving operations.
Experienced in budget management, financial controls, and operational planning.
Skilled in stakeholder management, with proven success in building credibility at senior levels.
Knowledgeable in health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, ideally supported by IOSH or NEBOSH.
Results-driven with excellent organisation, analytical, and communication skills.
A proven track record in production or manufacturing, with technical knowledge of product portfolios.
