Holcim UK is searching for a Regional Electrical Engineer to join our high-performing team across the South. What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee all electrical engineering activity across the southern region – ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

• Support the delivery of major sustainability and innovation projects, including the electrification of plant fleets and recycled materials technology.

• Partner with site and unit managers to drive performance enhancement, energy efficiency, and long-term electrical asset planning.

• Lead audits, VFL (Visible Felt Leadership) activities, and ensure all engineering activities align with Holcim’s Environmental & Safety Management System (ESMS).

• Support the planning and budgeting of shutdowns, new installations, upgrades and preventative maintenance strategies.

• Mentor and coach local electrical teams and contractors, building a strong network of capable engineers across the region.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong commercial acumen with a sharp eye for cost-saving opportunities and performance enhancement.

• A natural leader, able to manage people, projects, and priorities across multiple sites.

• Technical expertise in electrical systems (HV/LV), installations, inspections, and compliance.

• Understanding of strategic planning, budgeting, and asset lifecycle management.

• Confidence to challenge the status quo, drive new initiatives and represent Holcim’s vision in the field.

• Familiarity with working in highly regulated, safety-first environments.
