At Holcim UK, we manufacture and supply over 5 million tonnes of asphalt every year through our network of 32 plants nationwide, helping to deliver the roads, infrastructure and communities that keep the UK moving.
We're looking for an ambitious and commercially focused Area Sales Manager to join our Asphalt & Surfacing Solutions team, covering the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven sales professional to grow their career with a global leader in sustainable construction. You'll have the freedom to develop new business, strengthen key customer relationships and play a pivotal role in delivering profitable growth across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
Driving sales growth across your territory through both new and existing customer relationships
Identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities
Building strong partnerships with customers and key stakeholders across the construction sector
Promoting Holcim's innovative asphalt and surfacing solutions
Managing and growing market share within your region
Delivering against volume, revenue and margin targets
Monitoring market activity and analysing wins, losses and emerging opportunities
Producing commercial reports and insights to support strategic decision-making
Acting as a trusted ambassador for the Holcim brand
What We're Looking For
You'll be a motivated sales professional with a proven ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver commercial results.
You'll also have:
Strong business development and account management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
A proactive and results-driven approach
The confidence to identify opportunities and influence key decision-makers
Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
The ability to manage multiple priorities across a national territory
