The Opportunity

Are you ready to take your maintenance skills to the next level? We’re looking for a Workshop Fitter to join our team, focusing on the upkeep and repair of light vehicles, HGVs, and light plant equipment. Based at our world-class Glensanda site, you’ll be working in a unique environment, ensuring that our fleet and equipment stay safe, reliable, and performing at their best.

What you’ll be doing

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and repairs on light vehicles(Hilux/ land rovers), HGVs, and light plant equipment.

• Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting, and implementing repairs quickly to minimise downtime.

• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work using our digital systems.

• Supporting inspections and ensuring all vehicles and equipment meet compliance, safety, and performance standards.

• Working closely with the wider operations team to schedule maintenance around production priorities.

• Helping set the standard on site for safety, housekeeping, and efficiency.

• Training and supporting colleagues, sharing your knowledge and expertise.

What we’re looking for

• A motivated, hands-on individual with mechanical experience – ideally in light vehicle or HGV maintenance.

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Maintenance or relevant qualification.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

• Good organisational abilities and an eye for detail.

• Great communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

• A flexible and proactive approach with a “can-do” mindset.

• Welding, fabrication, or electrical skills would be advantageous, but not essential.
