The Opportunity

We now have a really exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager in a brand-new position to our expanding Mortars team. As a new role you’ll have a real opportunity to make you’re mark and further accelerate your career by taking the lead in shaping the future of mortar products. You’ll ensure the quality, innovation, and efficiency of our Ready to Use and Dry Silo Mortar, as well as dry and flowing screed products. As the Technical Manager, you’ll cover a national remit, with our core locations across the Midlands and in the North West and our Mortars hub in Wrexham.

With our Mortar team expanding rapidly, this is a high-growth opportunity where you’ll have the chance to develop your career, lead innovation, and play a key role in meeting our sustainability targets. You’ll be at the forefront of incorporating recycled materials into our mix designs, helping us achieve our ambitious environmental goals while ensuring our products meet the highest industry standards.

In this role, you’ll collaborate cross-divisionally, working closely with teams across manufacturing, sales, and R&D to drive technical improvements, optimise mix designs, and support strategic growth. Who You Are

You’re an experienced technical expert in mortars, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. You have a deep understanding of mix design, product compliance, and technical leadership, and you’re confident managing complex projects and technical trials.

Your creativity and problem-solving mindset set you apart—you thrive on finding new ways to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and improve sustainability. You’re also a strong stakeholder manager, comfortable collaborating with teams across the business to drive results.
