The Opportunity
We have a new vacancy for a Weighbridge Coordinator to join our production team at our concrete product site in Hulland Ward
The primary role of the Weighbridge Co-ordinator is to oversee the weighbridge
operation with accountability for the dispatch of products and associated paperwork. This will include managing the yard stocks and operations. The role will also include, but is not limited to, administrative duties, raising and managing purchase orders, controlling raw material orders, investigating variances, undertaking month end duties and general administrative tasks.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating the weighbridge, ensuring all vehicles are accurately weighed in and out.
- Maintaining accurate records of weights and measures for reporting and compliance purposes
- Interact with customers and haulage drivers, offering outstanding service and assistance.
- Coordinating with site operations to ensure smooth traffic flow and compliance with site safety regulations.
- Processing and management of weighbridge data, and preparation of weighbridge tickets.
- Assisting in the implementation of site health and safety policies.
- Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the weighbridge and associated systems.
Who you are
- Experienced in working in an office environment.
- Confident when working and dealing with people.
- Self-motivated, with initiative and proactive approach.
- Competent using a workplace PC, with google applications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relations with others.
- Detail and results orientated with strong personal values to succeed.
- Highly organized with demonstrable planning and delivery capabilities.
