The Opportunity
Are you passionate about people, data and creating a great employee experience?
Whether you already have experience in Reward, Compensation & Benefits, or you’re looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and build a long-term career in this area, we’d love to hear from you.
At Holcim UK, we’re looking for a Reward Analyst to join our team and play an important role in shaping and delivering our reward offering. Reporting to the Head of Pensions and Reward, you’ll work across a variety of projects and processes, helping ensure our pay, incentives and benefits remain competitive, effective and aligned with our wider People strategy.
This is a great opportunity to make an impact, develop your expertise and work with colleagues across the business. We’re open to candidates with previous Reward experience, as well as those who can demonstrate a genuine interest in the field, strong analytical skills and the ambition to grow their career with us.
Key Responsibilities:
No two days will be quite the same. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pay and reward programmes: Contribute to annual pay reviews, incentive scheme campaigns and pay and grade changes.
Analysing data and market trends: Use data, salary surveys and labour market insights to help us understand our position and maintain a competitive reward offering.
Managing employee benefits: Work with external providers, insurers and advisers to review and manage our benefits, ensuring we deliver value for both the business and our people.
Supporting employee risk benefits: Coordinate annual reviews, manage claims processes and provide support to employees when needed.
Developing our reward offering: Research emerging Reward and Compensation & Benefits trends and contribute ideas that help us continually improve our approach.
Ensuring accuracy and compliance: Support audits, maintain appropriate controls and help ensure our reward practices meet relevant statutory requirements and company policies.
Working collaboratively: Partner with HR, Payroll and HR Administration colleagues to implement changes accurately and on time.
Communicating with impact: Help develop clear communications that keep employees informed about their benefits, reward programmes and key processes.
What are we looking for?
We’re interested in people who are curious, analytical and keen to make a difference. You might already have experience in Reward or Compensation & Benefits, or you may be looking to take your first step into this specialism.
You’ll ideally bring:
Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data, particularly in Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate reports and meaningful insights.
A genuine interest in Reward, pay, benefits and the wider people agenda.
Good communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of stakeholders.
The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
A proactive approach, with a willingness to learn, ask questions and get involved in new projects.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage different priorities.
Previous experience in Compensation & Benefits, Reward administration or an analyst role would be beneficial, as would an understanding of job evaluation, grading and salary benchmarking.
Familiarity with SuccessFactors or iTrent would also be helpful, but it isn’t essential.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, a strong interest in Reward and the ambition to develop their skills over the long term.
We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. You will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability or age.
