The Opportunity
We are looking for an organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team based at Bardon Hill.
Working across our asphalt, aggregates and recycling solutions operations, you will play a key role in coordinating the movement of materials, vehicles and deliveries to ensure our customers and operational teams receive an efficient, reliable service.
This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent communication, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities throughout the day.
Coordinate the daily movement and delivery of asphalt, aggregates and recycled materials.
Plan and schedule vehicles, drivers and deliveries to meet customer and operational requirements.
Liaise with customers, hauliers, drivers, site teams and internal stakeholders.
Monitor delivery schedules and respond quickly to changes, delays or operational issues.
Ensure accurate recording and processing of orders, deliveries and transport information.
Work closely with production, sales and operational teams to ensure smooth day-to-day coordination.
Maintain a high level of customer service and keep stakeholders informed of any changes.
Support the efficient use of transport resources and help identify opportunities to improve logistics processes.
Ensure all activities are carried out in line with relevant health, safety, environmental and company requirements.
We are looking for someone who is:
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicating with a wide range of people.
Able to work calmly and effectively in a busy, time-sensitive environment.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
A confident user of IT systems and Microsoft Office.
Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experienced in logistics, transport coordination, scheduling or a similar operational environment.
Experience within the construction materials, asphalt, aggregates, recycling or transport sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential. Full training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
