The Opportunity

We are looking for a Shipping Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Devizes. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day execution of shipping operations, enhancing supply chain efficiencies, and supporting our commitment to superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.

• Manage and coordinate shipping schedules and adjust them as required to meet changing needs and priorities.

• Monitor and improve transportation processes to enhance delivery performance and reduce costs.

• Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.

• Collaborate with the inventory team to track material movements and maintain optimal stock levels.

• Address and resolve any shipping-related issues to maintain customer satisfaction.

• Develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of shipping processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a shipping or logistics environment.

• Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics operations.

• Excellent organisational and leadership skills with keen attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to work under pressure.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

• Proficiency in using shipping management software and MS Office Suite.
