The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Financial Controller to join our Construction & Demolition Materials (CDM) business. This is a high-impact role in a growing area of Holcim. You'll operate as a key member of the leadership team, partnering closely with Directors and General Managers to shape performance and strategy.

This is a particularly exciting time to join. CDM is one of our core strategic growth areas, with a strong focus on sustainability, circular construction, and continued expansion through both organic growth and acquisitions. You’ll play a central role in integrating new businesses, enhancing financial visibility, and influencing decision-making across a fast-evolving portfolio. What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with senior stakeholders across the CDM business, providing financial insight, challenge, and support to drive performance and achieve strategic objectives

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance analysis, translating data into clear actions, risks, and opportunities

• Strengthen financial control and governance, ensuring robust processes, compliance, and balance sheet integrity across both existing and newly acquired businesses

• Support M&A activity, including integration of acquisitions, aligning reporting, controls, and operational performance

• Lead and develop a small team of finance professionals, contributing to a high-performing and collaborative finance function

Who you are

• You’re a qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen and the ability to turn financial insight into meaningful business actions

• You’re comfortable operating in a senior business partnering role, building trusted relationships while constructively challenging stakeholders

• You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying risks, opportunities, and performance improvements

• You communicate confidently, able to present complex financial and non-financial information clearly to a range of audiences

• You’re motivated by working in a dynamic environment, with exposure to growth, transformation, and integration activity
