The Opportunity
At Holcim UK, we’re building progress for people and the planet, and we’re looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in supporting our contracting operations, supervising site teams and ensuring production activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards across a range of projects.
In this role, you’ll support the delivery of national contracts, working closely with operational teams to manage plant, people and production processes across multiple sites.
What you’ll be doing:
Supervising site operatives and coordinating day-to-day production activities on contract sites
Supporting the safe operation of batching plants and associated production equipment
Ensuring all works are carried out in line with company Health, Safety and Environmental standards
Managing site documentation including daily records, production reporting and operational paperwork
Supporting the mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment across contract sites
Liaising closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure production targets and project requirements are achieved
Ensuring traffic management, yard operations and site housekeeping are maintained to a high standard
Supporting continuous improvement and operational efficiency across all projects
What you’ll bring:
Previous experience in a supervisory role within construction materials, aggregates, contracting or plant operations
Strong understanding of site safety practices and operational compliance
Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a hands-on approach to site operations
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills with the ability to work closely with operational teams and site management
Flexibility to travel to different project sites as required - must have a driving licence.
