The Opportunity
Looking for a Health & Safety leadership role supporting projects across the region?
You’ll be based across projects in the area, leading Health & Safety on site and acting as a visible and trusted presence for the business. From early mobilisation through to live operational delivery, you will shape safe systems of work, support operational teams, and ensure compliance is embedded from day one.
This opportunity offers genuine scope and visibility. You will represent the us with customers and external stakeholders, influence standards on complex, high-profile projects, and contribute to the development of a mature, high-performing safety culture across aggregates and contracting operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Act as a key member of the Health & Safety team, providing technical expertise and practical guidance to operational sites across regional projects.
Identify and interpret relevant legal requirements, ensuring local compliance and supporting teams through audits, inspections and external site visits.
Lead and support incident investigations, providing detailed analysis, feedback and recommendations that strengthen organisational capability.
Promote and embed the Health & Safety Management System, contributing to the development of standards, procedures and training across aggregates and contracting operations.
Who you are
You hold a recognised Health & Safety qualification.
You are an effective communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
You have hands-on experience within large industrial, manufacturing or heavy operational environments.
You are analytical and solutions-focused, able to assess risk, interpret data and implement practical, proportionate improvements.
You are organised and able to prioritise effectively, managing competing demands within a complex project setting.
