This is a site-based leadership role requiring consistent presence across all locations, providing visible and supportive leadership to both direct and indirect teams.
This is an opportunity to shape the performance, culture and long-term direction of multiple manufacturing sites within a complex operational environment. You will hold full accountability for safety, operational excellence, financial performance and customer standards. If you are motivated by developing capable teams, strengthening safety culture and identifying practical improvements that enhance plant efficiency, this role offers genuine scale, responsibility and impact.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide consistent, visible leadership across five 24/7 manufacturing plants, ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
Lead and develop a team of site leaders and operational colleagues, embedding a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and shared best practice.
Take responsibility for EBIT delivery, cost control and financial governance, including budgeting, forecasting and robust monthly performance review.
Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, local authorities, regulators and neighbouring communities.
Embed operational efficiency initiatives across all sites, working closely with technical and operational excellence teams to optimise plant performance.
Who you are
You have demonstrable experience leading large-scale or multi-site manufacturing operations, within a 24/7 production environment.
You bring strong, practical Health & Safety leadership experience and can evidence how you have strengthened safety culture and compliance across complex operations.
You are commercially aware, with proven experience managing budgets, controlling costs and delivering measurable operational improvements.
You are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies, building credibility through clear communication and visible leadership.
You balance operational detail with strategic thinking, enabling you to manage day-to-day site performance while planning for longer-term improvement.
