The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the full customer journey across the North of England and Scotland, ensuring a seamless experience from quote through to delivery. As Customer Fulfilment Manager, you will report directly to the Regional Director and lead the end-to-end fulfilment strategy.
This role will require regional oversight across the North and Scotland, and you will be expected to travel to Scotland a couple of times per month to support teams, align operations, and strengthen stakeholder relationships on the ground.
You’ll be responsible for optimising service performance, driving cost-to-serve efficiency, and embedding a continuous improvement mindset within a high-performing team. If you thrive on operational leadership, customer experience excellence and cross-functional collaboration, this is a key strategic role within the region.
What You’ll Be Doing
Developing and executing a regional customer fulfilment strategy aligned to overall business objectives
Driving data-led optimisation of service levels, delivery performance and cost-to-serve
Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing fulfilment team across the region
Managing daily operations to ensure outstanding customer experience from quote to delivery
Ensuring OTIFIC (On Time, In Full, Invoiced Correctly) performance is consistently delivered and continuously improved
Collaborating with Logistics Operations Managers to align fulfilment with regional logistics strategy
Balancing service excellence with operational efficiency within defined cost frameworks
Providing feedback on haulier performance to support logistics optimisation
Embedding a customer-first mindset and strong service culture across teams
Driving standardisation of order management, pricing processes and service performance
Leading the team through change initiatives including system implementations and process updates
Resolving escalations swiftly and minimising customer impact
Monitoring KPIs and using performance data to identify improvement opportunities
Coaching teams through customer interaction reviews and service quality assessments
What You’ll Bring
Proven leadership experience within customer fulfilment, logistics, supply chain or operational service environments
Strong customer-centric mindset with a track record of improving service performance
Ability to analyse data and KPIs to drive performance improvement and operational optimisation
Experience leading cross-functional collaboration across sales, logistics and operational teams
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through
Confidence managing stakeholders and influencing across multiple business functions
Resilience and adaptability within fast-paced, changing environments
Willingness and flexibility to travel across the North and Scotland, including regular travel to Scotland
