The Opportunity

Based at our cement plant in Cauldon, Staffordshire, you’ll step into the role of Production Engineer and lead the drive for operational excellence across production. You’ll be accountable for performance metrics such as production rate, fuel usage and energy consumption, working closely with the Production Manager you'll be responsible for a team of five Shift Managers and their teams.

Working Monday–Friday, 08:00-16:00 with on-call support one week in every six, you’ll steer both short-term performance and long-term improvement initiatives in a heavy-industry environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Who you are

• Experienced in process or heavy-industry operations (cement, manufacturing, power, or related).
• An excellent people manager, able to develop teams, influence performance and lead change.
• Technically competent, with an analytical mindset.
• Comfortable using IT systems (SAP experience would be advantageous) and producing performance reports.
