The Opportunity

We have an exciting new opportunity for a confident and highly motivated Shift Fitter based out of our concrete block plant in Barton.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

• Tackling equipment maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and supporting site operations.
• Perform planned and urgent maintenance to keep things running smoothly.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Keep work areas organised, safe, and hazard-free.
• Help train other team members in maintenance tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines and complete required documentation.

 The role is Rotating Shift, 24*5 (Monday to Friday- 6AM-2PM morning shift and 2PM-10PM afternoon shift) (Sunday to Thursday night shift 10PM-6AM)  

Who You Are

You’re a skilled, motivated fitter with a technical background and a commitment to safety. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy hands-on work in a supportive, team-driven environment. Here’s what makes you a fit:

• NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification, with experience in welding, cutting, and fabrication.
• Ideally familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong communicator and team player.
• Organised and able to work to schedules and deadlines.
• Detail-focused, safety-minded, and adaptable.
• Flexible and ready to handle rotational shifts.
• Proactive and keen to improve processes
