The Opportunity
Are you detail-oriented and keen on playing a vital role in the operational success of a dynamic environment? Do you possess experience in handling daily operations efficiently? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Weighbridge coordinator at our express asphalt plant in Huddersfield
The primary role of the weighbridge coordinator is to greet customers (both internal and external drivers) and accurately record weight data using a Windows based computer system as vehicles deliver or remove materials to and from the site. This is a front line role where customer service is of paramount importance.
Key Responsibilities of a Weighbridge Coordinator
- Accurately measure and record incoming and outgoing materials.
- Log all transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and troubleshoot weighbridge equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Support yard operations and coordinate with team members to facilitate smooth workflow.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, including the use of PPE and incident reporting.
- Assist with administrative duties such as raising purchase orders and managing stock levels.
- Perform month-end duties and support general administrative tasks as needed.
Who You Are
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and good time keeping.
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Proficient in using weighbridge software and other related technologies.
- Committed to health and safety practices in the workplace.
- Computer literate, particularly with MS Office; knowledge of E1 is an advantage.
