The Opportunity

Ready to get your boots dirty and your career moving? We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a General Operative to join our growing team at Greystone Quarry, just outside Launceston.

This isn’t your average yard job—you’ll be working at an open-cut dolerite mine, supporting the production of over 400,000 tonnes of aggregate per year with a 3-phase processing plant. It’s big, it’s bold, and it’s the kind of place where no two days are ever the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Working collaboratively with your team to deliver high standards in both safety and output.

• Maintaining a clean, hazard-free site—and looking out for your mates.

• Learning every day—whether that’s through training, new tasks, or specialist equipment exposure.

What You’ll Bring

• A positive attitude and commitment to working safely—for yourself and others.

• Ideally, experience operating 360 excavators or loading shovels—but full training is available if you’ve got the right mindset.

• A love for hands-on work and getting stuck in.
