The Opportunity
This is an exciting chance to step into a key leadership role at our flagship site, Bardon Hill Quarry. As the Assistant Production Manager, you’ll be right at the heart of a fast-paced, high-output operation, overseeing distribution and management of product availability. Working Monday to Friday across two shifts (09:00–15:00 and 13:00–22:00), you'll lead multiple direct reports and support a wider team across various areas in the quarry.
It’s a big site with a lot of moving parts, you’ll be managing the daily flow of trucks and materials, keeping everything running smoothly while making sure health, safety, and quality always come first. You'll have real scope to drive change and help shape how we operate.
Who you are
You’re an experienced Shift Manager or Production Manager from either heavy industrial background or with direct quarrying experience.
You're confident managing people, keeping operations on track, and staying calm when the pressure’s on.
You'll be safety-conscious, eager to learn, and ready to take on new challenges.
Whether it’s picking up site certifications, understanding KPI performance, or supporting investigations, you’re proactive, practical, and always looking to improve.
