The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our People Operations as the new Head of People Operations. This pivotal position is to design, streamline and enhance HR processes, ensure compliance, and drive efficient practices across our organisation. You will be responsible for setting up and overseeing the operational aspects of HR, helping to shape a culture that values excellence, inclusion, and sustainable growth.
Lead and manage the People Operations team, ensuring best practices are implemented across all HR functions.
Oversee the execution of HR services and HRIS management.
Drive continuous improvement in HR operations, ensuring processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with company goals.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of UK labour laws.
Support diversity and inclusion initiatives, promoting a work environment that is equitable and inclusive for all employees.
Who you are
In this 12 month fixed term contract you will bring with you a deep understanding of HR operations and a passion for implementing innovative solutions to enhance organisational effectiveness. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. You thrive in managing complex projects and have a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in a senior People operations role with a track record of success in a similar-sized organisation.
Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience with HRIS and other workforce management software.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in HR.
